Robbin's Ride: Coast to Coast for Breast

This summer, a team of four young men from Ward 25 headed by Ryan Richards, cycled across Canada to raise
funds and awareness for breast cancer.
The idea to trek from Victoria,
British Columbia to St. John's, Newfoundland was
Richards'. His mother has battled with breast
cancer for the past 13 years and the journey was in honour
of her fight, as well as "the struggle of every
woman who has had to suffer from breast cancer."
To date, their donations are over the $50,000 mark and
will be used to support Sunnybrook & Women's new
Breast Cancer Centre. Sunnybrook & Women's is the
largest breast cancer treatment centre in Canada.
